Revolution sign winger Jack Harrison as a Designated Player

The revolution was confirmed earlier Reports The signing of winger Jack Harrison was announced on Saturday evening.

Harrison, 29, joins New England from Leeds United via transfer and will become a designated player under MLS roster conditions. The deal runs through the 2029-30 MLS season, pending receipt of Harrison’s P-1 visa and International Transfer Certificate.

Born in England, Harrison has a local connection in his background after attending Berkshire School in Sheffield, Massachusetts, where he was named the Gatorade High School National Player of the Year in 2015.

Having also spent time at Liverpool and Manchester United’s academies, Harrison was the No. 1 overall pick in the 2016 MLS SuperDraft. After winning the MLS Rookie of the Year award with New York City FC, Harrison eventually left for Europe. He has amassed his highest number of appearances for Leeds, and also recently made loan stops at Everton and Fiorentina.

Coming to the Revolution, Harrison should add a dynamism to their offense that was missing at times in 2026. Although New England is off to a good start in 2026 — where they currently sit in fourth place in the Eastern Conference — that has been accomplished with limited production from several offensive players.

New England’s official announcement of the signing coincided with Harrison being personally introduced to fans before kick-off against Atlanta United. He received a round of warm applause from the audience.
