Five simultaneous search warrants led to a drug bust that had been months in the making, intended to disrupt criminal activity in Galveston County, according to authorities.
Moon Ford, 22, the target of the investigation, has been arrested and faces multiple charges of delivery of a controlled substance, according to the Galveston County Sheriff’s Office. Bail was set at $2 million.

GCSO said it was an officer and his police dog that identified a storage unit that led to the discovery and seizure of several kilograms of methamphetamine, along with cocaine, fentanyl, and a firearm.
Investigators said marijuana, pill presses, body armor and cash were also found during the execution of search warrants.
According to investigators, the evidence was found in three storage units in Texas City and La Marque, and at two residences in Dickinson and Texas City.
The Sheriff’s Office thanked the multiple law enforcement agencies involved in the joint operation, including the Galveston County Organized Crime Task Force, the Galveston County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team, the Galveston County Sheriff’s Office Crime Reduction Unit, the Galveston County Sheriff’s Office K9 Unit, and the Houston Homeland Security Task Force.
The GCSO also thanked Amoco Federal Credit Union for their donation that made the purchase of police dog Cash, which detected the stolen items, possible.
Authorities have not announced any other arrests related to this investigation.
