The New York Giants and Las Vegas Raiders will both have extensive injury reports when they meet for a Week 17 game during the 2025 NFL season. Several of their key players will be unavailable as their disappointing years wind down. Both teams are in last place in their divisions and completely out of the playoff race.
What’s the New York Giants Injury Report for Week 17?
The Giants will enter Week 17 of the 2025 NFL season with just a 2-13 record as they have lost each of their past nine consecutive games. Their focus can now turn to the future, especially continuing to develop promising rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart, but they will be without several of their key players when they take on the Raiders this week.
Star offensive tackle Andrew Thomas, an important protector of Dart, has officially been ruled out with a hamstring injury. He was unable to practice at all this week, so his injury designation doesn’t come as much of a surprise, but his absence is surely notable.
New York will also be missing other key offensive linemen in John Michael Schmitz and Evan Neal, so their protection will be compromised against Las Vegas. They will also be without starting tight end Theo Johnson, further weakening their offense as a whole. He was a late addition to their injury report with an illness that resulted in him being inactive for this contest.
Their defensive secondary will be missing safety Tyler Nubin, who was held out of practice all week with a neck injury. On the positive side, cornerback Deonte Banks does not have a designation on the final injury report, despite being limited at practice with a shoulder injury.

What’s the Las Vegas Raiders Injury Report for Week 17?
The Raiders will also enter this game with a 2-13 record amid their disappointing 2025 NFL season in their first year with head coach Pete Carroll. They have several key names on their injury report as well, including some of their best overall players on both sides of the ball.
Brock Bowers was put on the injured reserve list this week with a knee injury, which officially ends his year. He was having another strong campaign as the eighth-ranked tight end in PFSN’s Impact Rankings for this season, but will now be unavailable for their final two games.
He is joined by their superstar edge rusher, Maxx Crosby, who has also been ruled out with a knee injury of his own. He reportedly wanted to play in this game against the Giants, despite not practicing all week, but Las Vegas still decided to rule him out when they take on New York.
