The couple had already completed their nuptials once in Italy in September. Still, both of them decided to have a second ceremony in Florida, where Williams was brought up.
Venus Williams Shares Behind-the-Scenes in The Days Leading Up to Her Marriage
Dating rumors between Venus Williams and Andrea Preti started back in July 2024. Dating rumors soon turned into engagement rumors, as Williams was spotted wearing a ring on her finger in January of this year. The couple was spotted at public events together and was also photographed sharing intimate moments.
A few days after the wedding ceremony, Williams was asked by some fans for behind-the-scenes footage during an Instagram Q&A session. In response to the fan’s question, Williams shared a video from December 15, which showed the American practicing dance routines before her bridal shower.
She captioned:” Working on the bridal shower choreography just the day before to send to the team instead of doing my gym workout lol. We danced to crazy in love!…Keep watching to see the full routine”.
Williams also shared a dance video from her bridal shower, where she was seen having the time of her life, dancing to the tune of “Crazy in Love” by Beyoncé, along with her close friends. Williams was wearing a white outfit and captioned the post, stating that dancing in heels was no easy task.

Williams made a comeback on court in 2025, during the North American hard-court swing. Since the turn of the decade, the seven-time Major champion has played only 41 matches in six years, owing to injuries and a decline in form.
