Tyler Glasnow clearly won’t let his injured back stop him from watching the FIFA World Cup on Thursday.
The Dodgers star, who has been on the injured list since early May, was spotted at SoFi Stadium pitching in for the USA-Turkey game alongside his pregnant wife, Megan.
Glasnow appeared to be in good spirits, as he entered the venue with a smile on his face. He doesn’t seem to favor his crippled back in any way.
His style was in stark contrast to what happened earlier this week, when… He confessed to reporters That his annoying illness “leads me on.” [expletive] crazy.”
Glasnow, who was initially injured in a May 6 game with the Astros, said he recently had to stop his throwing program because he suffered a setback. He described the whole situation as very frustrating.
“I just have to make sure those symptoms go away and I don’t hurt her again,” he said.
Glasnow wasn’t the only injured Los Angeles player to get tickets to the big football game, Blake Snell was at Inglewood’s famous stadium watching the game as well.
Snell, like Glasnow, seemed optimistic, even though he was on the injured list the past few weeks while recovering from surgery to remove loose objects from his elbow.
