A house that Mary Baker Eddy once owned, Founder of Christian Science. Florence Street with a group of colonial style houses. Adams Park, a haven of green space in the heart of Roslindale Square. All these stops Take a 25-stop walking tour of Boston at Roslindale.
Although it’s not on that list, this apartment is an excellent starting point since it’s located just steps from the plaza with its shops and restaurants, and a short walk from the MBTA. Roslindale Village Passenger rail stops.
This unit is located on the second floor of a mid-rise building containing 19 units. It faces south and is located at the front of the building, separating it acoustically and physically from the MBTA commuter rail tracks behind the project.
When you pass through the entrance, you find yourself directly in the unit itself as there is no internal lobby. To indicate the overall small size of the unit, there is also no closet in the front hall, but the current owners use a coat rack in that role.
The unit immediately displays its benefits in the shared space between the kitchen and living area. The ceilings are 9 feet high, there is engineered hardwood on the floors, all of which are flooded with natural light from a pair of large casement-style windows composed of clear glass panels.
Immediately to the left of the entryway is the unit’s full bathroom with tiled floor and single brown vanity with white quartz sink. There is a curtained shower/tub combination with a white subway tile backsplash.

The kitchen is on the right side of the unit. Features a two-tone design for Shaker style cabinets. The upper level cabinets are made of floating white while the lower level is made of walnut. Gas range and stainless steel appliances. A walnut-colored island topped with white quartz sits below a pair of pendant lights. An excellent place to prepare food, it also provides a dining area for three people.
The living area, just below the large windows, has recessed lighting and is currently occupied by a sofa, plush chair and entertainment console.

The two bedrooms are separated by the living area and are both behind solid wooden doors.
The primary bedroom retains the 9-foot ceiling height of the living/kitchen area along with engineered hardwood floors. Natural light arrives through two hung windows. The closet has double doors.

The second, smaller bedroom is located across the living room and is a mirror image of the larger bedroom, which has the same set of windows, hardwood floors, and closet. But there is one important difference. The second bedroom has a windowed door leading to a private 120 square foot balcony with south views.

The home has a laundry closet with stacked appliances. There is central air, heat pump, and garage space in the basement of the stacked parking system. There is no additional storage for the unit.
The complex does not have visitor parking but is adjacent to a city-owned lot.
Judy Paradis of Compass has the list. As of press time, a conditional offer for this property has been accepted.
