AUSTIN (KXAN) — This year’s inaugural Texas Capital Air Show in San Marcos has been canceled and postponed until next year due to the federal government shutdown, a press release said.
The air show was originally scheduled for November 1-2, 2025, but organizers decided they “would not be able to give our great fans, veterans and first responders the type of air show they deserve.”
The event has been postponed to November 7 and 8, 2026, organizers said.
What happens to tickets purchased for this event?
The organization has offered three options for those who purchased tickets to the 2025 Texas Capital Air Show. Here are the options, by release:
- We ask that you stick to them. They will fit in with our new show dates of November 7 and 8, 2026. Additionally, details will be released in December.
- If you would prefer a refund, email info@texascapitalairshow.com with your request by 11:59pm on November 21st.
- You can convert your purchase into a 100% tax-deductible donation to Wings & Warriors to help support veterans and first responders. Send an email to info@texascapitalairshow.com and the organization will send a donation receipt for tax purposes.
“We apologize for this inconvenience and thank you for your continued support of Wings & Warriors and the Texas Capital Air Show,” the statement read.
