Noah Kahan ended a historic four-straight nights at Fenway Park during Saturday’s final show, which brought with it even more reason to celebrate.
The show marked Kahan’s official induction into the Fenway Music Hall of Fame, according to a press release. His mother, Lori Berkenkamp, made a surprise announcement during Saturday’s show, linking the milestone to the importance of family in his songs.
Kahan is the fourth artist ever to receive the honor, joining the likes of Billy Joel, Paul McCartney and the Zac Brown Band, who were inducted in 2019 and 2022. It was a fitting way to conclude what Governor Maura Healey called “Noah Kahane Day.”
Although Kahan is originally from Vermont, he once lived in Watertown and has long treated Fenway Park as the final frontier of concert venues. Two years ago, he got his first chance, making back-to-back performances on the field.
Of course, Kahan’s other three performances in this year’s trip to Fenway were not without hype. Highlights included fireworks and cameo appearances by Boston sports royalty, including Rob Gronkowski and Drake May of the New England Patriots and David Ortiz of the Boston Red Sox.
2026 was a big year for Kahan, mostly marked by the release of his fourth album, “The Great Divide.” In the weeks before and after the album’s release, he starred in a Netflix documentary, made his debut on NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert, and appeared on the May 9 episode of Saturday Night Live.
In conjunction with Kahan’s Fenway shows, Boston.com reviewed and ranked each of his songs for fans new and old. The full list can be found here.
