Movement at MSG ahead of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding as trucks spotted unloading drapery, lighting

There was a lot of buzz outside Madison Square Garden in Manhattan on Monday — just days before Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce celebrate their wedding inside the iconic downtown venue.

Page Six spotted several vendors gearing up for a huge event at MSG, including a lighting company, a ducting and curtains company, a transportation services company and several unmarked trucks.

Employees were seen unloading large cloth-wrapped items from parked semi-trailer trucks. Forklifts were also seen moving huge boxes filled with unknown stock.

Sellers have turned the ordeal into an undercover operation, with some going so far as to hide their business names, logos and phone numbers with tape.

Dozens of spotlights, chairs and more were also spotted being loaded in MSG.

Several workers at the scene told us they were not informed of the identities of the agents they were preparing for.

The lighting company had no comment and a spokesperson for the piping and curtain company did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

Page Six reported in April that the “Love Story” singer and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end were to tie the knot over the July 3 weekend.

Last month, sources confirmed to Page Six that they would be holding their reception at MSG, where Swift has notably performed on several occasions over the course of her music career.

New York City Mayor Zahran Mamdani revealed a key piece of evidence about their impending nuptials earlier this month while discussing security arrangements for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

“I am absolutely confident in the work of the NYPD, as well as our state partners, in providing that safe experience,” the politician told reporters in a press conference at the time.

“We are the largest city in the country,” he continued. “We are used to big events, and we are very excited about this event.”

He added: “We know that it coincides with the Knicks game.” [NBA] Run the finals. We know it’s the 4th of July, the America 250, and Taylor Swift’s wedding — all happening at the same time — and we’re so excited to welcome the world here.

City Hall later confirmed to The Post that the permits were submitted to the city’s street activities permit office July 2-4. The submission requested that streets around MSG be closed and a public tent large enough to accommodate 999 people be erected outside the venue. Winick Production had no comment.

Page Six also confirmed that there was permission for a smaller, 100-person event on Thursday — which an insider said would be a rehearsal dinner.

While the exact date of their wedding remains unclear, Page Six has confirmed that Stevie Nicks and Tim McGraw are set to perform what some sources are calling a “wedding-palooza” for Kelsey and Swift.
