Star of Cyrus No. 2845 is in the registration category. Her hits over the years include “The Climb,” “Flowers,” “Party in the USA,” and her most recent single featuring Brittany Howard, “Walk of Fame.”

During the ceremony, Cyrus spoke about the importance of this honor.

“What I feel about this star is that it is an accumulation of devotion,” she said. “A star isn’t something you win like a season game. It’s not something you can chase or collect. It’s not something you make the next record for and then carry around like a trophy. My name is written in gold and pink.”

These statements were met with cheers from the audience.

Fans in attendance spoke of Cyrus’ influence on their lives.

“She helped me through some really tough times in life when I thought I was nothing and felt worthless. She really helped me,” Rose Angelica said.

Another fan, Alex Estrada, highlighted her cultural influence, saying: “We love Miley. We love Hannah Montana.” We love music. It’s a big part of the culture. “She is a generational icon.”

Mago Juarez described the experience of seeing Cyrus in person as unforgettable, saying, “I see her with my own eyes right in front of me and that will stay with me forever.”

Among the speakers at the event was actress Anya Taylor-Joy, who praised Cyrus’ influence.

“We celebrate the woman who taught an entire generation how to own their own story,” she said.

Fashion designer Donatella Versace also spoke in Cyrus’ honor.

It may not be as trendy as Versace, but Cyrus’ star is in front of the now-closed Marshall’s store on Hollywood Boulevard.
