Mass. woman charged after driving 120 mph in Conn., police say

A Massachusetts woman faces reckless driving charges after driving up to 120 mph on I-395 in Connecticut.

The driver, a 20-year-old woman from Framingham, was driving the Tesla north on I-395 in Montville, Connecticut, when he struck Sgt. Jason Robinson noticed that it was “traveling at a high rate of speed,” according to what was reported by the British newspaper “Daily Mail”. Report from Connecticut State Police.

Sgt. Robinson reported recording the vehicle traveling in excess of 100 mph for more than two miles, with a top speed of 120 mph in “moderate traffic.”

The driver was taken into custody during the traffic stop and charged with reckless driving and passing on the right, police said. She was released on $1,000 bail and was scheduled to appear in court on July 7.
