JAZZY’S WORLD TV WINS BET YOUNGSTARS AWARD AT 2026 BET AWARDS

Jazlyn Guerra is officially a BET Award winner.

The 16-year-old creator behind Jazzy’s World TV won the YoungStars Award during Sunday’s BET Awards at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. She was nominated alongside Daria Johns, Graceyn “Gracie” Hollingsworth, Heiress Harris, Lela Hoffmeister, North West, Thaddeus J. Mixson and VanVan.

After the ceremony, Guerra shared photos on Instagram of herself holding her trophy on the BET Awards red carpet.

“Thank you @BETAwards x @BET for selecting me as the winner of the YoungStars Award!” she wrote. “As a little girl from Colón, Panamá & Brooklyn, NY, accepting a BET Award is something I only dreamed of… UNTIL NOW! I hope every kid watching knows that no matter where you’re from, anything is possible. Dream big, stay hungry, keep believing, & most importantly HUSTLE HARD.”

In another post, she wrote, “Still can’t believe I won. Thank you @betawards x @bet for an amazing evening celebrating culture & excellence.”

Guerra launched Jazzy’s World TV while she was still in elementary school. She gained national attention in 2021 after an interview she conducted with Jay-Z went viral. She has since become a familiar face on red carpets, interviewing actors, musicians, athletes and other public figures at major entertainment events.

Before taking home the award, Guerra reflected on the nomination in an Instagram post.

“As a kid from Brooklyn with no connections, just a dream, never imagined I’d one day be nominated for a @BET award. I just wanted to represent the culture and inspire people like me to keep going. Truly honored @BETAwards & grateful — hope I’m making everyone proud. #BETAwards #Brooklyn #Grateful.”

The YoungStars Award recognizes people under the age of 21 who are making an impact in television, film, music and sports. Past recipients include Keke Palmer, Yara Shahidi, Marsai Martin and Blue Ivy Carter.
