Inside Margaret Qualley and Jack Antonoff’s breakup as former couple navigate split with ‘love and kindness’

Margaret Qualley and Jack Antonoff are working together to deal with their breakup “in the best way possible” — “with love and kindness,” a source exclusively tells Page Six.

“They are figuring it all out together,” the insider adds, noting that the “rumors” circulating about alleged infidelity “are not true.”

“They had a beautiful, loving relationship. Sometimes, these things don’t work out, and it doesn’t have to be for any dramatic reason.”

News of Qualley and Antonoff’s breakup broke earlier this week after Antonoff showed up solo to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding. The couple decided to end the relationship after less than three years of marriage, with sources telling People that things had been “difficult” between the couple for some time.

Another source noted that they are “figuring things out.”

An insider exclusively told Page Six on Wednesday that the estranged couple’s marriage fell apart due to certain “challenges.”

“Jack can be very picky about the way he likes things,” the source said. “He often preferred things to be done the way he thought was best, and Margaret did not always feel that her point of view was heard or given the same weight.”

“Communication was definitely a challenge between him and Margaret,” the insider added.

The Grammy winner and the “Maid” star were last seen together on February 1 at the Grammy Awards — but the couple has been dropping clues online about their relationship woes for months.

Two months after their last joint appearance, Qualley changed her Instagram account from @isimostar, which references her now-estranged husband’s song “Isimo,” to @sarahmargaretqualley23.

Detective fans also noticed that Bleachers has removed the song “Margaret” from the setlist for the “Bleachers Forever” tour.

Qualley and Antonoff first sparked relationship speculation in August 2021 when they were spotted kissing during an ice cream stand in New York City.

By May 2022, Qualley confirmed their engagement. They tied the knot in August 2023 in an intimate ceremony held at Parker’s Garage on Long Beach Island in New Jersey.
