Estelle Williams’ child, Estelle, died after being told she was not eligible for a heart transplant due to various health complications.

“Until we meet again, my dear Estelle 🪽,” she wrote on a photo of herself holding the baby who was born with a congenital heart defect, ventricular septal defect (VSD).

Williams said her daughter was in Status 1A for a heart transplant, the highest medical urgent category on the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS) pediatric heart transplant waiting list.
However, in April, Estelle was taken off the top of the transplant list due to her ongoing health complications.
“It was frustrating because we were at the top of the list in the Northeast. It’s okay because we trust in God’s timing,” Williams wrote on her Instagram Stories at the time.
“Her team is clearing her other organs one by one for heart transplant eligibility after the hit they took two weeks ago, we’ll get there!” She added.
Last month, Williams said her baby girl was taken off the heart transplant list for a second time.
