HPD seeking person of interest in connection with 2025 deadly double shooting involving siblings in southwest Houston

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) – Houston police have released a photo of a person of interest in connection with a shooting that left a man dead and his sister injured last year.

Arenthes Wynn, 20, has been identified as a person of interest wanted by the Houston Police Department for questioning.

HPD is looking to speak to Arentheis Winn, 20, in connection with the fatal shooting that left a brother dead and a sister injured in southwest Houston in November 2025.

According to HPD, the shooting happened in the early morning hours at 11107 South Post Oak Road on November 28, 2025.

Investigators said Marquis Mack, 29, was shot and killed, and his sister was wounded as they were leaving an establishment, adding that before they were shot, there had been a verbal altercation between the siblings and the two suspects.

HPD has not said whether Wayne has been identified as one of the suspects.

Investigators released Wayne’s photo in hopes of reaching anyone with information about his whereabouts, the identities of the suspects, or the case. Anyone who can speak about this case is urged to call HPD Homicide at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
