After an intense first two back-and-forth games in the Western Conference Finals, Victor Wimpanyama’s San Antonio Spurs and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s Oklahoma City Thunder head to San Antonio’s Frost Bank Center for two high-stakes showdowns.

Although expensive, this series – which critics have described as the “real NBA Finals” – has been nothing short of amazing so far.
The first match witnessed a tremendous effort from Victor Wambanyama, who led Tottenham to a 122-115 victory in overtime. The 22-year-old French player, who is 7’4 tall, scored 41 points and grabbed 24 rebounds. and He hit a clutch three-pointer from nearly half the field to tie the game at 108 and send the game into a second overtime.

Unfortunately, things didn’t go as planned in the second match. San Antonio trailed in the second quarter and trailed by 11 points at halftime. Although they outscored OKC in the second half and came back, they lost 122-113.
“It’s all about exploration,” Wembanyama said. “I have to trust the scouts. We have to trust them and do our work early. It’s a straightforward effort. … Doesn’t mean it’s easy. We have to work through it.”
