With its brick walls, this garden-level apartment looks like it’s located in Boston’s South End.
But it’s actually located in Brooklyn, nestled between two of its famous neighborhoods — Cleveland Circle and Washington Square — on one of those quaint brownstones that line the city’s largest street.
A The green neighbor is Jean D. Waldstein Park With a dog park and playgrounds. It also has easy access to the MBTA’s Green Line.
The entry door leads directly into the 178-square-foot eat-in kitchen with ceramic tile flooring. On the left is a white refrigerator surrounded by cabinets. The gas range and sink are built into a long Formica counter. Natural light is provided by a window on the back wall.
Two walkways, each about 6 feet long, connect the remainder of the unit together. The entryway heads straight from the kitchen, passes through the 30-square-foot laundry closet with ceramic tile flooring, and ends in the living room.
The 178-square-foot living room is located at the front of the building, finished with a curved white wall with an exposed brick crown that embraces two casement windows for natural light. There is a third free-standing casement window on the left outer wall. The floors are polished.

The 223-square-foot master bedroom runs parallel to the living room and is accessed via a door from the living room, a dramatic example of South End style in this streetcar suburb. The entire back wall, from floor to ceiling, is made of classic red brick that visually contrasts with the white walls. There is a single casement window, and wardrobes with sliding doors line the interior wall of the rectangular-shaped room. The floor is carpeted.
Returning to the center of the house, a second 6-foot entryway connects the full bathroom, office and second bedroom.

The full bathroom is located directly across from the office. The 50-square-foot bathroom features a white mosaic tile floor, a single white vanity with a white quartz sink, and a shower/tub combination behind a curtain. The backsplash is classic white subway tile.

Next is the 192 square foot secondary bedroom. It also has a dominant red brick wall, but differs in form – there is a protrusion with a pair of double-hung windows. The floor is carpeted.
Heat is the plate with oil. Cooling is up to the owner. The construction of the four units is self-managed. A lead paint report is available from the listed broker, Elizabeth Bryce from Compass.
