Former porn star Asia Carrera has made a wild career pivot — passing the Texas bar exam and putting herself on track to become a licensed attorney.
Carrera, born Jessica Steinhauser in New York City, shared the news this week after taking the tough test in Waco in February.
“I PASSED THE BAR EXAM!!!!” she he wrote in a Facebook post. “Asia Esquire, y’all!!!!!
“It was an unnerving feeling to look around this huge hall of almost 1,000 beagles hunched over their laptops and typing furiously, knowing ‘these are the people I have to beat’, but I think it went well!” She added.
Carrera (52 years old) went on to say that the “Two Days and 12 Hours” exam was her second attempt after she had previously failed to pass it by only two points.
“I only missed by 2 points last time (268 out of 270), but I was still inconsistent with the law and got borderline passing scores during my practice tests,” she wrote in a Facebook post.
“This time I was so cold, I scored higher than 91% of my classmates at Barbri Bar Prep on the final exam.”
according to TMZofficial records show that she has now been admitted to the Texas State Bar under her birth name, an essential step toward practicing law.
Carrera said she didn’t even intend to become a lawyer, but simply wanted to prove she could pass the exam, the gossip site reported.
However, her academic record makes this achievement less shocking.
