Listed in $1.25 million, 404 U.S. Route 302 in Bartlett, New Hampshirehas served as a staple of the Mount Washington Valley for decades. The spacious and cozy house includes a living room with a wood-burning stove and a dining room. There is one bedroom on the first floor, with a sliding door opening onto the backyard leading to the river. The other two bedrooms are upstairs, as is the loft which is great for guests.

Due to the building’s prime location on the Saco River, residents or guests can stroll along the river path and put inner tubes in the water for a fun 10 or 15-minute ride down to the B&B and the bridge.

“On a nice day, it’s like a little private tubing trail on the Saco River,” Wheeler said.

While summer is full of fun on the river, the bed and breakfast is well located next to the ski mountains for winter access. Cross-country skiers will find plenty of locations nearby, such as Jackson Village, as will backcountry skiers.
