PewterReportTV is launching a new regular video series called Bucs Cap Convo featuring Pewter Report’s salary cap expert Josh Queipo. These episodes – typically eight to 12 minutes in length – on Pewter Report’s YouTube channel PewterReportTV offer up Queipo’s insight and expert analysis on Buccaneers salary cap-related topics, such as contract extensions, salary cap cuts, player valuations, salary cap space and anything related to what general manager Jason Licht and assistant general manager Mike Greenberg are dealing with.
Buccaneers two-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle Vita Vea was a “hold in” during mandatory mini-camp – showing up but not participating – due to a contract dispute. The 31-year old Vea is entering a contract year and wants an extension. Pewter Report’s Josh Queipo addresses the situation and the possible outcomes, including an easy fix that the Buccaneers can do to likely satisfy Vea in this episode of Bucs Cap Convo.
