Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson recently celebrated his daughter Tiana’s 8th birthday with a low-key gathering at home.
On Monday, April 20, the actor took to his Instagram to share photos and videos offering a glimpse into the celebration.
Held at the family’s home, the get-together was themed around the girl group KATSEYE. A homemade cake, which served as the centerpiece, featured images and lyrics tied to the group, while a poster displayed behind the dining table carried the theme throughout the space.
“Happy Birthday Tia 8 summers old and our anchor of pure love, joy, crazy humor and always down to put in the work, and step outta the box!” Johnson wrote alongside the footage.
In one clip, Tiana stood at the table as family and friends gathered around to sing “Happy Birthday,” with Johnson nearby as the moment played out. He also referenced the group’s single in his caption, adding, “We love U baby girl. Pinky’s Up,” and included “#HomemadeCake4TheWin.”
Johnson, 53, shares Tiana and her older sister Jasmine, 10, with his wife, Lauren Hashian. He is also father to Simone Johnson, 24, from his previous marriage to Dany Garcia.
The former wrestler is a girl dad through and through and you don’t have to scroll far to come across a sweet moment between him and his girls.
“Every man wants a son, but every man needs a daughter,” he wrote alongside a photo of himself and Jasmine walking hand in hand. The former athlete continued, “All my girls have become the great equalizers in my life. I’m surrounded by estrogen and wouldn’t have it any other way. And man, I hope she never gets tired of holding these big ol’ dinosaur hands, though I suspect one day she will.”
