las vegas — Disney wrapped up CinemaCon 2026 with bigger stars, bigger trailers and plenty more in store for moviegoers.
Here are some highlights.
Alan Bergman, co-president of Disney Entertainment, showed the audience the slate of upcoming films hitting theaters next year, including Disney’s “Moana” (July 10), “Super Troopers 3” (August 9), “The Dog Stars” (August 28), “Whalefall” (October 16), “Wild Horse Nine” (November 6) and “Hexed.” (November 25), Marvel’s “Avengers: Doomsday” (December 18), “Ice Age: Boiling Point” (February 5, 2027), and Disney and Pixar’s “Gatto” (March 5, 2027).
Director Jon Favreau took the stage to talk all things “The Mandalorian and Grogu.” He showed audiences 17 minutes of the film, released the final trailer and announced tickets would go on sale Friday. You can watch the trailer and read more about it here.
Tom Hanks and Tim Allen were also on hand to show fans new footage from Toy Story 5.
“We’ll see you all at the movies… on June 19,” Hanks said.

Katherine Lagaia joins Dwayne Johnson to introduce new footage from the upcoming live-action film “Moana.”

“The heroine of our story is not a princess, she is a warrior. All men of all ages, we must empower, support and support all women. This is what true masculinity looks like,” Johnson said.
We also got a look at “The Dog Stars,” which hits theaters on August 28. It is Ridley Scott’s latest film and stars Jacob Elordi, Margaret Qualley, and Josh Brolin. More about this movie here.
Hailee Steinfeld and Rashida Jones have been announced as the stars of Disney’s Hexed, and Queen Latifah, Denis Leary and Ray Romano will also return to star in Ice Age: Boiling Point.

Then came the time of the miracle.
Robert Downey Jr. took the stage with “Avengers: Doomsday” directors Joe and Anthony Russo, Marvel president Kevin Feige, and Cap himself, Chris Evans. Fans received a sneak peek at the trailer for “Doomsday,” which includes scenes from Doom and Thor, Mystique, Gamibit and Shang-Chi, Evans’ mysterious return as Captain America and a scene between him and Thor. The trailer has not been released to the public yet.

Marvel also announced the launch of Infinity Vision, a new premium certification for large format cinemas.
“Disney’s standards for production quality are unparalleled, with every detail of the film meticulously fine-tuned to provide an immersive experience,” Andrew Krebs, president of theatrical distribution for Walt Disney Studios, said in a statement. “Infinity Vision certification extends that commitment to the theaters themselves, representing a joint effort between The Walt Disney Studios and the exhibition community to help audiences quickly find the best screens in their area to experience our films exactly the way they were designed to be watched — on a huge screen with the clearest colors and sound.”
Infinity Vision will begin re-releasing “Avengers: Endgame” on September 25.
