Early on Monday morning, deputies from the Santa Barbara County Office responded to the 911 call in Julita after a woman stated that her 41 -year -old Patrick Kennedy, threatened to kill her.
For fear of her safety, the victim escaped from the house on Avenida Gurion before contacting law enforcement, according to the Sharif Office.
Representatives arrived at the housing at about 5:48 am and tried to speak with Kennedy, who refused to come to the door and instead continued through the door of the door bell.
Investigators later learned that Kennedy spent the night dealing with firearms and later seen wandering in the neighborhood wearing a ski mask. Sharif’s office also stated that Kennedy made repeated and specific threats to kill the victim, and recently threatened a neighbors with a similar hand grenade, and kept firearms loaded in his home and in the glove box in his car.
At approximately 1:00 pm, Kennedy came out of the house and was eventually detained although it was an unsuccessful. He was seized in Santa Barbara County Prison on multiple charges, including suffocation, wrong prison, and local battery that caused injury, criminal threats, children’s threat, and a firearm. Kennedy is held on an improved bail of $ 500,000.
Later that afternoon, one of the judge allowed the issuance of a Kennedy’s inspection order. Representatives seized the large cache of weapons, including 10 rifles, one rifle, four pistols, and thousands of ammunition rounds. Sharif’s office said that Nubia reflected an accurate investigation and helped remove a major threat from society.
