Pedro Pascal stands firm in his criticism of Harry Potter creator J.K. Rowling‘s “heinous loser behavior,” he revealed to Vanity Fair on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, stating plainly that “Bullies make me f—ing sick.”
The actor previously slammed Rowling over her anti-trans stance in April, following her celebration of a Supreme Court ruling that defined “men” and “women” solely by biological sex and permitted businesses to bar trans women from single-sex spaces.
After Rowling, who funded the lobbying group behind this initiative, posted on X “I love it when a plan comes together,” Pascal backed an Instagram user’s view that her actions were “awful disgusting s–t,” adding his own take about her “heinous loser behavior.”
Pascal, whose younger sister Lux identifies as transgender, reflected on his response: “The one thing that I would say I agonized over a little bit was just, ‘Am I helping? Am I f—ing helping?’”
He elaborated to Vanity Fair about the sensitive nature of the situation: “It’s a situation that deserves the utmost elegance so that something can actually happen and people will actually be protected. Listen, I want to protect the people I love. But it goes beyond that.”
