A Brighton man has been charged in connection with the June 2025 fatal shooting of a 15-year-old boy in Allston, court records show.

The Boston Police Department said in a statement that Armani Collazos, 26, was arrested on Friday on a warrant in the area of ​​284 N. Beacon Street in Brighton. press release.

Collazos is charged with murder, assault and battery with a firearm, four counts of assault with intent to murder with a firearm, carrying a loaded firearm without a license, and carrying a firearm without a license as a second offense, police said.

Court records show Colazos pleaded not guilty during his arraignment and was ordered held without bail.

Collazos is charged in connection with the death of Philip Franco, 15, of Brighton, who was found with gunshot wounds outside 7 Pomeroy Street on June 12, 2025. Police said Franco was taken to a local hospital, where he died five days later from his injuries.

Police also arrested Miranda Bowden, 22, of Allston, on Friday at 57 Everett Street. She was charged with five counts of accessory after the fact, according to police.

Court records show Bowden pleaded not guilty and was released on $2,000 cash bail.

Both Collazos and Boden are scheduled to return to court on Aug. 8, according to records.

Authorities have not released additional details about the relationship between Collazos and Boudin or what investigators believe was the motive for the shooting.

Lawyers representing Colazos and Boudin did not respond to requests for comment Wednesday evening.
