This B stings again.
Bethenny Frankel walked the runway at the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Runway Show for the second time — and she’s hitting back at the haters.
Despite being featured in this year’s issue, the 55-year-old former reality star has drawn criticism for her age, body and overall decision to participate in the Miami Swim Week event.
“Let’s discuss the Sports Illustrated experience,” Frankel began Tik Tok video Tuesday.
“It’s so much fun because of the women. It’s just women of all shapes, sizes, heights, ages, genders, backgrounds…just amazing women,” she said.
Although the former “Real Housewives of New York” star said, “Everyone is a little nervous in some way,” she qualifies, “I’m not going to try to be a model. I’m just going to be me and have fun.”
She continued: “now I know how old I am. I didn’t think about it until last year when everyone was talking about it so much.
Skinnygirl addressed those who suggested she was too old to walk the runway in a swimsuit, quickly saying: “Why? [do it]? Because I will do what I want.
“Your ass is jelly,” she said, parroting the haters. “It’s jelly,” she replied. “I’ve told you, king, 27,000 times… I don’t exercise and I don’t want to. I walk. Would I do squats for six months? No. Because I’m not that vain.”
She also called her boyfriend, Shane L. Campbell, a “stage dad,” said he thought she was the “belle of the ball,” and said her 16-year-old daughter, Brynn Hobby, “liked the black bathing suit the most.”
“I’m happy. People are allowed to be happy,” she concluded plainly as she addressed online trolls and haters who say she’s too old.
Last April, she exclusively told Page Six Style, “I feel like I represent women my age in a very real way.”
“There is a narrative that we are somehow past our prime, and I do not support that,” she added.
At a red carpet event for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit launch last month, she told us, “To be honest, the journey is more exciting than the destination. Just… Do thisDo it for the mothers.
“People approach me on the street and say, ‘Thank you.’ You’re welcome,” she added.
