A gunman delivered a hurtful message, saying “this is where I do business” to a group of people in downtown Los Angeles before shooting them Thursday night, the Los Angeles Police Department told the California Post.

The shooting occurred around 7 p.m. near the intersection of Sixth Street and San Julian Street, and the search for the suspect is still ongoing.

Investigators said a man walked to the northeast corner of San Julian Street, made a statement, and then fired several shots at two men and a woman.
