HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) – Several eastbound lanes of I-10 were closed Monday afternoon after a truck crashed into the Houston Avenue Bridge, according to officials.
Houston Transtar reported the crash at 3:39 p.m., adding that the right shoulder, right lane and center lanes on eastbound I-10 were closed. The accident caused a heavy truck to lose its load, according to local sources Transstar website.
According to the Houston Fire Department, no one was injured in the incident. HFD officials said the contents of the missing cargo remain under investigation.
SkyEye13 was flying at the scene Monday afternoon, capturing images of crews responding to the bridge attack.
This incident is the fourth time the bridge has been hit since the beginning of 2026, and the 77th time since the beginning of 2025.
