Video: Massive Southern California Halloween party shut down

A Halloween party attended by hundreds, if not thousands of people, in Woodland Hills was shut down overnight.

Details surrounding the rally itself were limited. However, preliminary information indicates that the incident occurred in the 5700 block of Oakdale Street.

Los Angeles Police Department units are believed to have been dispatched to the area late Friday night after multiple noise complaints and reports of people in the street.

Footage obtained by KTLA shows the party in full swing, with attendees gathered together in the backyard of a home. Some appeared to engage in a “moshpit” in the crowd as music played — everything from Soulja Boy’s “Crank That (Soulja Boy)” to Adele’s “Someone Like You” was heard loudly over the speakers.

There appeared to be live performances at the party, and people were seen sitting on the roof of the house where the party was being held to get a better view. Some attendees seemed happy about the arrival of the LAPD blimp.

The crowd eventually spilled into the street, and costumed attendees left the party in droves after law enforcement shut it down. They left many piles of trash in their wake.

It does not appear that any arrests have been made.

There were reports of an individual at the party who may have been taken to hospital. However, the alleged reason for his possible hospitalization was not immediately known. KTLA is still working to verify this information.
