The 23-time Grand Slam winner frequently posts snapshots of her life with her family, giving fans a peek into what she has been up to following her professional career. Her latest post is no different, capturing the entire family at their home.
In the picture, the American legend is with her husband, Ohanian, and their daughters, Olympia and Adira, all dressed up formally. Ohanian can be seen wearing a black suit with a black tie, Williams in a white dress, while both girls are wearing light blue dresses and holding their hands.

When Williams posted this photo, she wrote, “Joy does not always roar sometimes it whispers. Not everything is forever so it’s important to savor those sweet moments… before the plot twists. I love this picture so I wanted to share it with you.????”
But within minutes of posting the images, she went back and changed it to, “Joy does not always roar sometimes it whispers. It important to savor those sweet moments… I love this picture so I wanted to share it with you.????”
She noticably removed the part about “Not everything is forever” and “before the plot twists,” which changed the meaning of the message immediately.
The Eventful December 2025 for Williams Family and Serena’s Potential Return
The last month of 2025 was a very exciting and big month for the Williams family. The seven-time Grand Slam champion Venus Williams announced her engagement and wedding with Italian actor and producer, Andrea Preti.
The couple got engaged on January 31, 2025, but Venus shared the news with her followers on December 2, 2025, through an Instagram post. Following their five-day wedding celebration in Palm Beach, Florida, the Vogue magazine shared unseen images from the ceremony, thus announcing their wedding.

On the same day when Venus announced her engagement, Serena’s name reappeared on the International Tennis Integrity Agency’s anti-doping test pool. This led to immense fan speculation on a potential return by the 23-time Grand Slam champion which reached to Serena herself.
She addressed these rumours, saying, “Omg yall I’m NOT coming back. This wildfire is crazy,” but the ITIA agents confirmed that she put her name in the list herself.
So, if Williams registered knowingly, she could become eligible to return to the WTA Tour starting in April 2026. Her last professional match was more than three years ago at US Open 2022, where she lost to Ajla Tomljanovic in three sets.
