Whether it’s down Causeway Street, in Foxborough, or across from Fenway Park, one piece of sportswear has dominated the Boston sports field over the past year.
I saw it – “I”. [Heart] “Drake May T-Shirt.”
Many of these jerseys joined the sea of black and gold jackets surrounding the TD Garden ice Tuesday for the Bruins’ game against the Dallas Stars.
Those devoted Maye fans were there to enjoy that night, given the guest list in the Bruins fold.
During the second period of Boston’s eventual 6-3 win over Dallas, the video board at TD Garden featured a Patriots fan in front of the glass, who showed off his viral graphic jersey dedicated to the New England franchise QB.
As the Patriots’ familiar anthem — “Your Love” by the band The Outfield — blared over the speakers at TD Garden, the video board cut to both Drake May and his wife, Anne-Michael May, who were watching the game.
Drake Maye made a heart gesture with his hands after landing on the Jumbotron, giving a fan salute while the entire TD Garden cast cheered in approval.

Earlier Tuesday, both Drake and Anne-Michael May were in Quincy, where the Patriots caller shaved his head as part of a “Save by Shaving” event organized by Granite Communications to benefit Boston Children’s Hospital. The event raised more than $4 million.
“First of all, we love dealing with kids. Dealing with kids,” Drake May said. Boston GlobeChristopher Price. “They are often our biggest fans as players, and I think it’s a great experience to be able to shine a positive light and be there for them and help them in any way we can.
“I’ve been with Boston Children’s Hospital patients at times and it’s been great to be with them and be able to do anything I can and put a smile on their faces.”
As the Bruins prepare for a playoff run in the coming weeks, Drake Maye and the Patriots will begin voluntary offseason workouts on April 20.
