NBA World Reacts To Steph Curry’s Performance
@StephMuse_: “Steph Curry tonight 24 points 8/23 FG 4/16 3PT Warriors lose to the worst team in the NBA.”
Anthony Slater: “Dreadful 0-2 road trip for the Warriors. Lost to the Bucks without Giannis and now to the previously 0-5 Pacers. Down night for Steph Curry: 8/23 FG, five turnovers, -21 in 29 minutes. They lost the fourth quarter 32-21. Drops GSW to 4-3, erases early season momentum.”
@DeanO_Lytics: “Tonight was Steph Curry’s worst night since 12/19/24. In his worst games the last five years – when he basically had -8 net points or worse – and only one of the seven came after early January. So it seems he gets these out of his system pretty early.”
5:47 left in fourth quarter:
Warriors – 104
Pacers – 93Final:
Warriors – 109
Pacers – 114Indiana secures first win of the season.

@tokertim: “Steph Curry is always going to be a defensive liability it becomes a problem when he misses 12 3s”
@nikotaughtyou: “That loss is on Steph and Dray.”
Tim Kawakami: “Warriors aren’t going to win many or any games when Curry is -21.”
@ZayaV: “Steph Curry missed his shots down the stretch.”
Stephen Curry was particularly dissatisfied with his third-quarter shift. Credited the unit that finished the quarter and said “I’ve got to be better, just being more decisive. More aggressive. Even not to shoot, but to playmake and get everybody organized.”

The Warriors dropped to 4-3 in their first seven games, which has them as the eighth seed in the Western Conference.
Following the Pacers, they will play their next game on Tuesday night when they host Devin Booker and the Phoenix Suns at the Chase Center in San Francisco.
Curry is in his 17th NBA season (out of Davidson) all with the Warriors.
