NBA Fans React To James Harden’s Performance Against Heat

Justin Russo: “This started early on, too. The attention to detail from Harden early on tonight was nowhere near the level the team needed. Multiple times just late getting out to contest, not tracking his man and getting beat on the offensive glass, etc. Games like this happen. But, man.”

@Bobocop247365: “James Harden must have been out all night when they got in. He is the worst. Talent with no heart.”

@YoungKingFOE: “james harden please wake tf up”

@JamesSm94646303: “James harden doing absolutely nothing!”

@ReichelRadio: “James Harden is a -39 tonight against the Heat……”

@tamtat00: “James Harden with a -39 is crazy”

@Brandon1Jackson: “So James Harden isn’t playing the entire 2nd half of a game?”

@ajaybolt0: “James harden is done and it’s time for the #clippers to blow it up #nba”

@SayTreo: “So James harden gave up”

Harden had come into the night with averages of 27.7 points, 5.9 rebounds, 8.7 assists and 1.1 steals per contest while shooting 43.7% from the field and 37.2% from three-point range.

The 2018 MVP is in his third season playing for the Clippers (following stints with the Thunder, Rockets, Nets and 76ers).

Via ClutchPoints (before the game): “James Harden’s 17-year streak of playing in the playoffs is officially in danger if the Clippers can’t flip the script soon ???? Sitting at 5–15 and 14th in the West, the struggles are piling up. The offense looks stagnant, the defense hasn’t found its rhythm, and the chemistry just isn’t clicking the way it should. If nothing changes, the Beard could miss the postseason for the first time in his entire career. The pressure is rising in L.A.”

With the loss, the Clippers dropped to 5-16 in 21 games, which has them as the 14th seed in the Western Conference.

They are in the middle of a five-game losing streak.

Following the Heat, the Clippers will play their next game on Wednesday night when they visit Jalen Johnson and the Atlanta Hawks.
