Margaret Josephs is officially heading to a new reality series, but the move is already raising questions about her future on The Real Housewives of New Jersey.
According to Us Weekly, the RHONJ star has been confirmed for an upcoming Amazon travel series, which will also feature Kenya Moore and other reality personalities. The currently untitled show is set to film in the Dominican Republic and is described as a mix between Eat, Pray, Love and Bravo’s Ultimate Girls Trip, with cast members traveling together while cameras follow their journey.
Margaret and Kenya are the latest Housewives stars to branch out into new projects at a time when both of their Bravo futures are uncertain. Kenya was previously suspended from The Real Housewives of Atlanta, while RHONJ has remained on pause as Bravo works through casting decisions.
Just last week, Andy Cohen revealed that he had a meeting regarding RHONJ to finalize next steps — a sign that movement on the franchise may be happening soon. Historically, when Housewives are about to begin filming a new season, they are typically restricted from signing on to outside reality projects.
That’s why Margaret’s involvement in this Amazon series is turning heads.

The cast of RHONJ — including Margaret, Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, and Dolores Catania — has reportedly been on hold for over a year. But Margaret’s new commitment could suggest she’s no longer being considered for the next season.
If that’s the case, the new show could represent both an opportunity and a shift.
While landing a new series keeps her on screen, it may also signal that her time on RHONJ is coming to an end — something fans have been speculating about as Bravo continues to reshape the franchise behind the scenes.
