In a host of pictures shared by the family, fans got to know that Kelly Pegula was now engaged, who proudly showed off her engagement ring. However, one of the pictures caused a playful disagreement between the two sisters.
Jessica Pegula Engages in Playful Banter With Sister
In one of the pictures in the carousel, the three Pegula siblings, Jessica, Kelly, and Matthew, were seen together. Kelly Pegula was seen wearing a white shirt and had her hand outstretched to the camera, showing her new engagement ring.
However, once Pegula shared the images, her sister was quick to react and stated that she was not warned that she was wearing the shirt wrong, and apparently looked like a “blob”. The tone of the messaging was that of playful banter with Kelly Pegula saying, “Why would you do this to me”?, ” The shirt was laying wrong”, “I look like a blob?”.

On the court, Jessica Pegula had another impressive season in 2025, winning over 50 matches in the year. She reached six finals in the season, winning three titles in Austin, Charleston, and Bad Homburg, and had runner-up finishes in Adelaide, Miami, and Wuhan. For a fourth consecutive year, she qualified for the WTA Finals, where she lost to Elena Rybakina in the semifinal.

For the second half of the 2022 season, she played under these worries and still emerged as one of the top players on the Tour, qualifying for the season-ending WTA Finals for the first time in her career.
