Season 5 of the ultra-violent superhero satire premieres on Prime Video with two episodes on Wednesday, April 8.

Annie (Erin Moriarity) struggles to resist the overwhelming super power. Kimiko (Karen Fukuhara) is nowhere to be found. But when The Butcher (Karl Urban) reappears, ready and willing to use a virus that will wipe all monsters from the map, it sets off a chain of events That will change the world and everyone in it forever.

Although these final eight episodes mark the end of The Boys, the world of the show will continue with a prequel led by Jensen Ackles and Aya Cash; “Vought Rising” is expected to premiere on Prime Video in 2027.
