(Krona) – Four people were arrested to steal a person outside a bank on Mission Street in Frimmut on Friday, according to the Freemont police department.
It was claimed that the victim was stolen at approximately 12:34 pm, and the police presented a description of the escaping car. Fremont PD used its system from the automatic licensing plate reading cameras to find the car that tried to withdraw the suspects.
The driver tried to evade the officers followed by heading north to the I-880 highway and to San Leandro. During the stalking, the driver crashed once on the highway and twice in the surface street of San Leandro, according to the police. No one was injured in the accidents.
“The suspect was eventually stopped in San Landro, and four suspects escaped from the car,” PD said.
The police caught the suspect on foot and the victim’s property was found inside the suspect’s car, according to the police. The police suspect that the group participated in a similar robbery that occurred in a nearby city on Friday.
This case is still under investigation.
