Warriors guard Stephen Curry missed Wednesday night’s game against the Celtics with a nagging knee injury, but he made the trip to TD Garden anyway.

Apparently, he still had to endure some unwanted communications.

A video captured by User X shows a fan grabbing Curry’s arm as he walks toward the player’s tunnel.

“Want a quick boot from the NBA arena?” the Post by @KyleCelt33 He reads. “He grabbed Steph Curry and pulled his arm. Security was quickly involved and they were taken out.”

Curry was minding his own business when the fan tried to get his attention. The fan reached out and pulled Carrie toward the stands. Curry turned toward the fan and stared for a moment before releasing his arm and continuing his walk.

The Celtics beat the Warriors 120-99 on Wednesday night while Curry was sidelined. Golden State shot 10-for-43 (23 percent) from 3-point range without him. Former Celtic big man Kristaps Porzingis tied for the team in three attempts with seven points.

“One step forward, one step back. I don’t think we’re there yet,” Warriors coach Steve Kerr said after the game. “It’s going to take more than what we’re showing right now. I think our guys are playing hard. It’s easy to get frustrated when you don’t have the firepower that we lack right now because it feels like you have to be perfect and it’s hard to play 48 minutes when you don’t have the ability to shoot, the ability to sustain a strong run.”

Curry, 36, missed 18 consecutive games due to knee pain and inflammation. The Warriors, who currently sit in ninth place in the Western Conference, are vying for a spot in the playoffs while they recover.

Curry took snaps during pregame warmups on Wednesday night, but was ultimately scratched from Golden State’s lineup.

“It’s good to see him with the team whether it’s in the locker room or on the floor,” Kerr said. “I think we’ll have an update on Saturday, but yeah it’s great to have him along for the ride.”
