Crescenta Valley deputies search for stolen emergency response trailer

Deputies in Los Angeles County are searching for a stolen Crescenta Valley Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) trailer, officials announced.

Details of the theft are limited, but LASD said the trailer was stolen early Wednesday morning from the 2700 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Crescenta.

“Crescenta Valley deputies are actively searching for this vehicle containing donated medical and other emergency supplies to assist CERT members during disaster activation operations,” LASD male.

The trailer belongs to the Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Support Group, an independent 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization, according to officials. It’s a large, white trailer with “Crescenta Valley Community Response Team” written in green and “CERT” on the sides.

Authorities did not immediately say whether anyone had been arrested, nor did they provide any descriptions of the suspects.

Anyone with information about this theft or who may have seen this vehicle is asked to notify local law enforcement or Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Station Detective Carmen Gudeil at 818-248-3494.
