los angeles — It’s been 50 years since “Charlie’s Angels” premiered on ABC, and one star is ready to get back into acting! “Charlie’s Angels” star Kate Jackson wants to get back in the saddle after a 20-year hiatus.
While chatting with On The Red Carpet’s George Pennacchio at PaleyFest’s celebration of the hit show’s 50th anniversary, the 77-year-old actress made her big announcement. “I’ve recently become interested in getting back to work after all this time.” Watch the full interview above to see what Jackson has to say about all the “Charlie’s Angels” fans.
She made her acting debut in the horror show “Dark Shadows” in the 1970s. The actress rose to fame as one of the protagonists of the drama series ‘The Rookies’ and later joined ‘Charlie’s Angels’ in 1976. She then starred in two television series, ‘Scarecrow and Mrs. King’ and ‘Baby Boom’. Jackson has starred in many films and guest roles. Her last acting credit was listed as “Ambassador Elizabeth Prentice” in “Criminal Minds” in 2007. She explained during a PaleyFest chat that she decided to focus on being a mother, leaving the Hollywood spotlight to raise her son, Charles.
