Carlos Alcaraz was recently spotted attending his younger brother Jaime’s tennis match. The World No. 1 was born to Carlos Alcaraz González and Virginia Garfia Escandón and is one of four siblings, including an older brother, Álvaro, and two younger brothers, Sergio and Jaime.
Like his brothers Álvaro and Carlos, Jaime is also a tennis player. Recently, Jaime finished as the runner-up at the under-14 event at the Rafa Nadal Tour’s Master Mallorca tournament. Following that, he was seen competing at an ATP Challenger Tour event.
Carlos Alcaraz Attends Brother Jaime’s Tennis Match
Alcaraz concluded his 2025 season after competing in the ATP Finals. He was the top seed, and he began the tournament by defeating Alex de Minaur. He then overcame Taylor Fritz and Lorenzo Musetti to advance to the semifinals, where he beat Félix Auger-Aliassime before losing to Jannik Sinner in the final.
After the tournament in Turin, Alcaraz was set to represent Spain in the Davis Cup Finals but withdrew due to a right thigh injury, bringing his season to a premature end. Since then, he has been recuperating at home.
Recently, Alcaraz shared a picture on social media of himself attending Jaime’s match at the ATP Challenger Tour event.
“@jaime.alcarazz ???? ❤️,” Alcaraz captioned his Instagram story.
Speaking about his brother Jaime, Alcaraz said:
“I’ll be there for him for sure. He loves tennis and every time he can, he goes to court. Let’s see if he’s gonna get better and better, and hopefully one year I’ll play against him. He plays well, I’m not gonna lie. He’s getting to a really good level,” he added.
This year, Alcaraz finished his season with eight titles, including two Grand Slam titles: the 2025 French Open and the US Open, where he defeated Sinner in both finals. In the other two Grand Slam tournaments, he lost in the quarterfinals to Novak Djokovic at the Australian Open and finished as the runner-up to Sinner at Wimbledon.
The World No. 1 also claimed three ATP Masters 1000 titles in 2025: the Monte-Carlo Masters by overcoming Musetti in the final, the Italian Open, and the Cincinnati Open, both of which he won against Sinner.
Additionally, Alcaraz won the 2025 ABN AMRO Open by defeating de Minaur in the final, secured the Queen’s Club Championships title by beating Jiří Lehečka, and took home the Japan Open title after emerging victorious over Fritz.
The Spaniard finished as the runner-up to Holger Rune at the Barcelona Open and to Sinner at the ATP Finals, reached the semifinals at the Indian Wells Masters, and had a quarterfinal run at the Qatar Open.
