Bucs Still Missing Rueben Bain Jr. & Josiah Trotter On Latest Injury Report

There was some updated news on the Bucs’ latest injury report, but it doesn’t involve the players that Bucs fans were looking to hear about. Fellow rookies Rueben Bain Jr. and Josiah Trotter did not participate in Thursday’s practice. The good news, though, is that outside linebacker Anthony Nelson practiced after missing the day before.

Considering that Bain hasn’t even been seen outside at practice indicates that it’s a long shot that he’s going to play on Sunday against the Vikings at home. Bain has been a non-factor in the first two games of his career, so it might be best to have him recalibrate and return when he can. So having Anthony Nelson available becomes much more important since he will play a high number of snaps.

While listed as did not participate, Trotter has at least been outside and running individually. There’s no guarantee he’s going to play, but he certainly has a better chance to play than Bain. Friday’s practice will be important for whether or not he’ll be available for a must-win game.

The only new player added to the injury report was defensive tackle A’Shawn Robinson, who had a rest day. Once again Baker Mayfield, Jalen McMillan and Jacob Parrish all practiced in full.
