HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) — Two people were arrested after a police chase that ended in the Channelview area Wednesday afternoon, according to the Baytown Police Department.
Police say officers arrested a 24-year-old driver, who was wanted on an outstanding armed robbery warrant, and now faces an evading charge. Authorities say the passenger in the car, who was also arrested, is now charged with evading police on foot.
SkyEye13 was over the scene and showed the end of the chase at approximately 5:20pm near the East Beltway at I-10. Photos show a blue car in the front yard of a home, and law enforcement is investigating the scene.
At this time, Baytown PD has not said where the initial chase began with law enforcement.
