Lizzo turned heads in a bold, see-through dress at the 2026 BET Awards on Sunday in Los Angeles. The 38-year-old singer wore a sparkling sheer brown dress to the ceremony at the Peacock Theatre, with her long blonde curls strategically covering her breasts.
She completed her look with distinctive rings and glowing makeup.
The “Truth Hurts” singer is also scheduled to perform at this year’s BET Awards.
Lizzo has been busy promoting her new album, “Bitch,” which was released earlier this month. She recently revealed to SiriusXM’s Page Six Radio hosts Evan Real and Danny Murphy her favorite song on the album.
“Right now I’m loving ‘Sexy Ladies’ and I think it’s because everyone loves sexy ladies,” she said. “And he’s so easy to love. It’s summer, isn’t it?”
She also spoke about her performance in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit runway show during Miami Swim Week last month.
“I felt very drawn,” Lizzo said of wearing a one-piece from her fashion line that said “Bitch.”

Lizzo has been candid about her remarkable 60-pound weight loss with her fans. In April, she shared photos of herself wearing a Gucci bikini on Instagram striking some provocative poses, including one holding her butt.

In November 2025, Lizzo shared in a very personal Substack post that she began losing weight in the fall of 2023 following her harassment and hostile work environment scandal, which she wrote made her “deeply suicidal.”
She noted that she “tends to overeat when she is sad and depressed,” but that she “did not feel like doing so” after the scandal.
Instead, the Grammy winner took up Pilates in search of a “way to heal.” [her] Pain through [her] body.”
“It was never about being skinny for me,” she emphasized. “I don’t even think I could be considered really skinny.” I will always have the skin of a woman who carries a lot of weight. And I’m proud of that. Even when the world doesn’t want me to be.”
She also addressed the criticism she received for losing weight while preaching body positivity.
“We’re in an age where bigger girls are getting smaller because they’re tired of being judged. Now bigger girls are being judged because they’re getting smaller by the same society that used to empower them,” she noted.
“There is no shame in living in a larger body. There is no shame in being fat. But if a woman wants to change, she should be allowed to change.”
