Emergency responders met a plane arriving at Boston Logan International Airport Sunday evening after a flight attendant hit her head during sudden turbulence.

No other infections were reported on the Delta Air Lines flight from Madison, Wisconsin, which was operated by the regional carrier Republic Airways.

A spokesman for Republic Airlines attributed the accident to clear air turbulence – an explosion Sudden and severe disturbance In otherwise clear skies. The spokesman confirmed that the flight landed without further complications, and that the emergency medical service received the flight in Logan.

They added: “Our hostess went out with them to assess their condition.” The flight attendant’s condition was not immediately clear.

Logan Airport also witnessed a dramatic incident on Saturday, when a Delta plane had to abort a landing attempt after it came within approximately 300 feet of an American Airlines plane that was about to take off.

The Federal Aviation Administration said it was investigating the incident that occurred on Saturday.
