Carrie Underwood is proud to be an American.
The 43-year-old country singer recently Go to Instagram to share a video Drive it through a large fence decorated with American flags along the property.
“I can’t believe I get to live here. Thank you Lord. #GodBlessAmerica #Grateful #TN,” she captioned the post.
Fans in the comments section were inspired by the patriotic display, with one saying a similar display they saw at Eric Trump’s Trump Winery in Virginia “actually brought tears to my eyes. So patriotic.”
“I feel the same way! Thank you Lord for bringing us here,” one fan wrote, while a third added: “Beautiful and amazing at the national level! So proud.”
“Oh my God. I hope others who served like me can see this post,” another fan wrote. “If those flags reflect your appreciation for your freedom, then this display makes the things you’ve been through less painful. Thank you, Carrie. Thanks Mike and the boys too. “
Underwood showed her patriotism in January 2025, when she performed “America the Beautiful” in the US Capitol auditorium during President Donald Trump’s inauguration.
She avoided an awkward moment when the music cut out before her performance, prompting her to tell the audience, “You know the words, help me here,” and sing it a cappella.
“I love our country and am honored to be asked to sing at the inauguration and be a small part of this historic event,” Underwood said in a statement. “I am honored to answer this call at a time when we must all come together in a spirit of unity and looking to the future.”
The announcement was met with mixed reactions, with some, like The View’s Joy Behar, criticizing her decision, and others defending it.
During an interview with Fox News Digital at the time, Lee Greenwood defended her, saying, “You’re going to do a great job singing at the Capitol with ‘America the Beautiful.’
He added: “I will sing before the president takes the oath.” “You’re going to sing next. And this moment is going to be magical. For those people who have something negative to say, I say keep it to yourself. Don’t attack a friend of mine who’s here for the same reason I was inaugurated as the 47th president of the United States.”
Underwood rose to fame in 2005 as the winner of the fourth season of “American Idol.”
Since her appearance on the show, the “Jesus, Take the Wheel” singer has won eight Grammy Awards and sold more than 22.5 million albums in the United States alone.
She later announced her return to the show in an Instagram post in February 2025, informing fans that she would be replacing Katy Perry as a judge on the show.
