Alexis Skyy is sharing a much more positive update on her co-parenting relationship with Brandon Medford.
The reality star recently posted a video on Instagram of Medford jamming with their daughter in the back of a car. Alongside the clip, Skyy wrote, “Mood after leaving court. idk yall they up to something.”
She continued, “Our co-parenting relationship has become everything I prayed for and more. God is truly amazing. I never wanted to force anyone to be a father you had to genuinely want that for yourself, and you did,” she wrote.
The pair haven’t always been on good terms. In 2021, Skyy publicly accused Medford of being ashamed of their daughter, Alaiya, who has special needs.
A year later, Skyy again expressed frustration with Medford during one of Alaiya’s hospitalizations. At the time, she claimed he had only visited their daughter once during her hospital stay.
“We’ve moved past so much, and watching the bond you and our daughter share today is something truly beautiful. Seeing you show up, love her, and be present means more than words can express,” she added.
She concluded her message by writing, “Growth, healing, grace, and God’s timing will always win,” before wishing Medford a “Happy Father’s Day.”
Skyy’s post comes after she recently shared an update on Alaiya’s health.
In a recent Instagram Live, she shared that her daughter has a mild form of cerebral palsy.
“The good thing about Laiyah’s condition is that the doctor said she could outgrow it because she was not born with Cerebral Palsy,” Alexis explained. “When she had hydrocephalus, she had a brain bleed and that caused her to have weakness on the left side of her body, which is a form of Cerebral Palsy. She has a very mild case of cerebral palsy. So with therapy and all the stuff that she’s in, she can beat it.”
She added, “LaiLai wasn’t born with Cerebral Palsy; they diagnosed her with it later on. So we’re going to keep pushing because my baby is a fighter and she beats all the odds and she’s very smart and don’t let anybody tell your kids any different. Trust me, that brain works perfectly fine.”
