Woman killed, man critically injured in southwest Houston shooting, HPD says

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) – A woman is dead and a man is hospitalized after a shooting in southwest Houston, according to the Houston Police Department.

According to investigators, the shooting was reported Thursday evening in the 8700 block of Justin Lane.

Lt. Larry Crowson told Eyewitness News that investigators suspect the incident was related to domestic violence.

HPD said the man was seriously injured and that there was no danger to the public at the time.

An investigation was ongoing after a double shooting in southwest Houston Thursday evening, according to HPD.
