Meghan McCain shared her scathing take on her former co-hosts on Tuesday Interview with Vice President J.D. Vance.
“The biggest thing I learned from Vance on The View is honestly how unruly and undisciplined the hosts still are,” McCain said. Written via X From her former colleagues.
“After all these years, they still get basic facts wrong, get easy questions wrong, and can’t get through a passage without yelling at each other,” she continued.
Representatives for the “show” hosts have not yet responded to Page Six’s requests for comment.
McCain, 41, praised the politician on social media for handling the controversial interview “very well.”
Vance, in particular, sat down with Whoopi Goldberg, Sarah Hynes, Sunny Hostin, Ana Navarro, Joy Behar, and Alyssa Farrah Griffin on Tuesday to promote his new book, “Communication.”
As the 41-year-old was grilled about inflation, the Epstein files and more, Goldberg became vocally frustrated with her co-hosts — and specifically called out Navarro.
“Ana, oh god! Please!” the “Chapter Two” star, 70, shouted after Navarro, 54, refused to stop her line of questioning when he pushed Goldberg for a break.
Before the show turned into a commercial, she said, “Don’t do that!”
Goldberg also reprimanded Behar earlier in the hearing, trying to prevent the 83-year-old from asking Vance a follow-up question.
Behar, visibly annoyed with Goldberg, raised her hand and continued talking.
After the episode ended, Vance revealed a “much better compliment” than he expected from Behar — that he was “pretty good for a Republican.”
“Gutfeld!” he said. Listeners “I I expected them to be quite ferociousThey were only a little fierce. “It wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be.”
He was “sceptical” before filming, telling Fox News Digital: “It may be the optimist in me, but I fundamentally believe that most people — not everyone, but most people — even if I don’t agree with them, you should try to have a conversation with them. … I hope they meet me halfway.”
McCain promised listeners on her “Citizen McCain” show on Tuesday that she would break down the interview further on her podcast.
She co-hosted the talk show from 2017 to 2021, and claimed upon her exit that she was “miserable” on the “evil” set.
In December 2023, she brutally called her former hosts “crazy old people.”
