Bucs second year cornerback Benjamin Morrison did not participate during Thursday’s OTA practice. Considering that Tampa Bay did not have a practice on Tuesday or Wednesday for different reasons, it certainly raised some eyebrows.
Head coach Todd Bowles said after that Morrison has a leg injury, but that he’s just a little nicked up. Typically, this wouldn’t be too much of a concern since the season is still months away, but given Morrison’s injury history, it becomes a conversation.

Morrison missed a lot of time last season, including several OTAs and all of training camp. He even missed the beginning of the regular season, and all of those missed reps caused him to struggle when he did play.
However, Benjamin Morrison did get off to a great start thus far during OTAs. He had an interception off of Baker Mayfield last week and has a chance to start out at outside corner this year .
So is it just precautionary that he was out, or is there more to look into? Pewter Report’s Scott Reynolds and Matt Matera share there opinion on if this injury is getting more overblown up than it should be.
